"The Marin Designer's Showcase is proud to present
'Equestrian Manor',
a 14 acre Novato hilltop estate surrounded by panoramic views of the
Bay, Mt. Diablo and Sonoma. Formerly known as Dijon Ranch, the owners
Dr. & Mrs. John Emery raised Arabian horses on this magnificent
property containing acres of wood riding trails, six elegant riding
stables, and two riding rings (one of which served as a professional
show arena for their Arabians)."

"Alexis Ulrich's living room is an exciting interpretation
of an elegant parlor scene during the early days of the Old West. Her genius
is in creating a modern day perspective of the old 'California West' as she calls
it. Ms. Ulrich has commissioned Bay Area artist Nancy Peach to create
as a focal point a 30' wide x 9' high mural of Arabian horses at play.
The artist skillfully creates a three-dimensional quality to the piece
capturing the power and beauty of these animals. The decorative arts
style mural is embellished with a crackle lacquer finish highlighted
by hand rubbed metallics of bronze, silver, gold and copper."
